Boat Covers
Boat covers come in a variety of styles, sizes, colors and materials. They’re made for sail boats, power boats, ski boats, fishing boats, skiffs, just about any kind of boat you can think of. They’re also made for different purposes or applications and that’s very important. Boat covers are made for either indoor /outdoor storage or storage and trailering . They are generally water and mildew resistance and also weather or sun resistant. Special covers that come with tie down kits are available if you want to trailer your boat while covered.
Make sure you get the tie down package and center brace if your planning on trailering your boat while covered. Key differences or characteristics of boat covers include the material type and the material density or weight. Make sure you get a boat cover that breathes. This is important to ensure the built up condensation has a way to escape while in storage.
Boat Trailers
Boat trailers come in a variety of styles for almost any kind of boat. They’re made for ski boats, sailboats, power boats, fishing boats, skiffs and even pontoon boats. They are generally made of aluminum which is a lightweight, strong and non-corrosive material.
Most boat trailer fabricating companies make generic trailers that fit or adjust to fit any type of hull. However a few trailer companies manufacture boat trailers specifically to the shape and size of the hull. These generally cost a bit more, but sometimes they’re well worth it.
